- Starting with San Francisco, cities and states across the country are banning the use of plastic bags.
- Countries like China, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Ireland, South Africa, India, Scotland, Australia, Belgium, Taiwan, and many others have banned or taxed plastic bags.
